Our Sunday morning worship services are central to who we are as a community of faith. We offer a Sunday morning worship service, starting at 9:30 am, from September through June.
Our 9:30 a.m. summer services are shared with South Acton Congregational Church (35 School Street; 978-263-2332). We worship six weeks in one setting and then six weeks in the other. The minister is from the visiting church. An up to date current schedule can be found in the Calendar section.
On the first Sunday of the month, we share communion. The children are also invited for a special children’s worship that invites broad participation from the children and includes communion. This service runs parallel to the regular communion service for adults. Everyone is invited to Christ’s table regardless of denominational background.

Taize is a type of prayer service designed to achieve a contemplative state through music, song and silence. Each month will be based on a theme from scripture.
Sunday School and Childcare
While children are always welcome to stay throughout worship, a number of our services throughout the program year include all generations and are shaped interactively around creative themes. On most Sundays, families typically worship together through the first part of our worship service which includes a special children’s message. Children aged 3 through 14 then leave for Sunday School taught by our dedicated volunteer teachers. We also provide nursery care for younger children in a clean and inviting setting. Our church has adopted a safe church policy to ensure a safe and loving environment for all children and youth. For a detailed description of our programs for children and youth, please go to the Children and Youth section.
Following all our services is a time of fellowship in our old sanctuary. We hope that you will take time to linger and meet others.
We offer baptisms for children of God of all ages. All are welcome. Please contact us if you would like to schedule a baptism in our church.
Special Needs Accommodations
You may also like to know that there is elevator access to our sanctuary. We provide large print bulletins and hearing devices.
We also have an active and varied music programs in our church. We are graced by our dedicated senior choir which regularly enhances our worship with selections of wonderful music. Our junior choir, for boys and girls in grades 3 through 8, also inspires us through song twice a month. Both choirs hold weekly rehearsals and welcome you to join. Occasionally, other church members and friends offer special music selections that include folk music, rock, and special acappella music by our Sounds of Peace Choir which ministers to people in hospitals, nursing homes and those near death.

Throughout the year, we have special worship services such as Taize, a live Nativity during the Advent season and sunrise service during Easter. Check our calendar and events pages throughout the year for more information about these services.
